Serendipity: Schopenhauer

Rating: 2.5

Less than 2 days
after first hearing of,
then buying
truffled salami in Adelaide,
and less than 1
after frying
it and dabbing it with a paper towel
to reduce the grease,
in Botton I read
that Parma ham, Venetian salami
and truffled sausage
were Schopenhauer's favorite meats.
He frequented a Dresden Italian tavern
that served all 3 treats.
