Serenity.. Poem by Rick Adriolo

Serenity..

Rating: 4.7

When the sun disappears from sight
Casting a shadow, darkness and thus night
Absent of sunlight but I wont cry for yesterday
And even with the sun gone I'll find my way..

Scattered stars in the sky are seen
Traveled light from a far that makes me feel serene
And I wont mock nor would I cry
For when I look up I have stars brightening up the darkest of my sky..

The night becomes a comfort for thought
For between day and night we're all caught
But darkness will vanish with the night
And we'll see the sun again as a beacon of light..
