Serenity Personified Poem by Isabella Francis

Serenity Personified

The sky is calm, the sea serene
They're nothing compared to my serenity queen.

Her open eyes reflect her peaceful soul
Connecting with which is my only goal.

Closed eyed, shut mysteries behind them
Soulful and strong, I've fallen in love with them.

All life's disaster is forgotten by her very sight
Once spoken to her I feel that everything's alright.

I, the wind always in motion, not still for a moment
Find peace in my ocean of serenity and regain my strength spent.

Waves lash on the Oceanside beach
But the boundaries of her peace are impossible to breach.

I've seen her agitated, thrilled and mad with fury
But never has she broken down and always gained victory.

I know not what inspires her
But does the Gautam Buddha need any inspiration.

She is to me an open book with clear text
Hidden inside which is a cryptic meaning in amazing context.

Every meeting with her is new and refreshing,
I know her yet I feel that it is the beginning.
