The Perfect Night Poem by Isabella Francis

The Perfect Night

Rating: 5.0

The breeze blows,
Soft and soothing as a caress.
The breeze blows,
Taking with it all the stress.

The moon glows,
Her brown curls glow silver.
The moon glows,
A smile flows on her lips like a river.

The leaves fall,
She listens to their soft rustle.
The leaves fall,
As she builds her dream castle.

The clouds cover the moon,
Wrapping her in deathly silence.
The clouds cover the moon,
She relaxes her body tense.

A hug comes and shields her,
Giving her all the warmth she needs.
A hug comes and shields her,
In the arms of her beloved she peacefully sleeps.
