Serious But Humorous - Poem by Joyce Hemsley
Stealing a tin of beer ~ what next?
The barmaid will be vexed!
You must never-ever help yourself...
Go, place it back on the shelf.
Symptoms of illness you are revealing
'Kleptomania' needs concealing.
The Commandments tell us
~~We must not steal~~
However tempted we feel.
But stealing a tin of thirst-quenching beer,
'You must never do that my dear'.
