Set To Receive Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mind is set to receive
With all cunning ideas to deceive
Yet it is called brilliance
I too think same at once

It may travel far off and come back
Make the place and rightfully stake
Even thought nothing belongs in person as such
But it is mind with all thoughts and worries so much

They jumble up in mind and crowd
Speak in strength and so loud
I wish to get up and shout
Ask them to leave and get out

They create siren in head
Get me no where to lead
Don’t allow me to think and read
I pray them to leave and plead

They may invade aimlessly
This may leave me restlessly
I will lye down and not think much
They may come and go as such

Mind is their refuge ground
The place is easily found
Nothing to worry and plenty to explore
Make men desperate and compel to think more
