Shadow Dancing Poem by Ronald Strickland

Shadow Dancing

The evening sun sets, as I watched the shadows form.
There is beauty a sunset as it say farewell to a day, saying my day is done.

As I set among the shadows and feel the warmth from the sun, I recall when our love glowed as bright as the sun.
Never to set but always would glow.

Your love has gone, leaving behind its shadow. In the shadows of the evening sun, your in my thoughts with the shadow of our love in my heart, I shadow dance with you.

In the shadow of the evening, your in my heart.

"My I have this dance you"
