Shadows Of Absence Poem by soren Barrett

Shadows Of Absence

Black and white, day becomes night
What is real? What is not?
Wrong turns into right in the twilight
What is, soon to be forgot

Hollow nothingness crawls
Empty shadows of darkness
Silhouettes on fantasy's walls
Black ghost of a living carcass

Out of nothing something is made
the antithesis of being
movement in a dark shade
absence is what you are seeing
