There is no solace behind the cold blue eyes
The day brings me nothing but the same old agony
In my dreams I only find new ways to die
Reborn by daylight for an age of misery
This hollowed out life that I have damned to
Has become a mandatory suicide forevermore
Like a sickness that there is no cure for
I vomit out my soul and all reason to believe
My body so tired, the beatings left me sore
When the rope becomes the only sign of relief
The very sword that has carved me out of normalcy
Shall be the blade that I will fall upon
There's no more hope that can run in these veins
All left within me are shadows on the brain
No sweet caress of the fair maiden's touch
Just one more nail driven in, far beyond too much
And you can make the best from the worst
But it will never satisfy my angry soul
Starving to death just to be rid of this curse
Just to feel once more, something to make me whole
And you can look on the bright side of darkness
But there will still be no one there
For truth and reality I cannot suppress
The first to go, the last to fall, I do not care
