A realization of fact--
A nightmare turned daymare--
A haunting that always comes back;

Reality plays itself in such daunting ways...
So hard to face it head on...
Tremulous moments- in the in betweens...
Always present-never gone;

A loss of true love so pure...
An ailment never ending...
A sorrow with no cure;

Its a remembrance that always returns...
Its a part of my heart that forever longs...
Its an unending nightmare---

Its a break of: 'our once was'...
Of our future and our past...
Its a moment of harsh truth...
About a love that didn't last;

Its: 'a days gone by pain'...
