She Poem by Richard D Remler

........

She has a way
With the sunrise
That makes it last
All day.

She brings the sea,
And the honey bee
And me
Outside to play.

She whispers
Worlds of wonder
Just to brighten up
The sky.

And I'm left in awe
As all the tall clouds
Roll right on by.

She has a way
With the sunset
That paints the
Shadows long.

She fires up each
Waiting star
With her softly
Whispered song.

Her smile, deep,
Gentle and rare,
Shimmers in the
Evening air

Catching shafts of
Moonlight
Unaware,
Like that
Spark of hope
Within each prayer.

She has a way
That fills each day
With those pearled drops
Of wonder bright,

That chase the shades,
Dismal and gray,
Into her never
Waning light.

And in the piebald
Morning mist,
I feel the warmth of
Love she shares,

And I'm lost
In every
Tender kiss
Her heart
Ever softly declares.

In the morning's
Silvered blush,
Where new light beads
Against the dew,
With wonders old
And wonders new,
That lose themselves
In twilight's rush

I feel her gently
Kiss my lips,
And take my hands
In her own,
With a love that time
Cannot eclipse.
Deeper than a
Heart unknown.

She makes this
Humble house a home.
And I am hers,
And hers alone.
