She carries the light
From her sisters life,
Most trusted and solemn gift.
Contract without conditions
From days when sharing grew,
When on each relied
And lives entwined,
As one a stronger two.
To pain and joy each privy
Secrets and frivolity,
To dreams projected
So far afield,
Fascination and infatuation
Each a shield to unrequited love.
A shelter to privation
Partners in subtle feast,
Critics savage of each other
Inseparable in battle,
Fashionista's to the front
Sacrifice of innocents.
Clarity in philosophy
Of far projected dreams,
Secrets of love and war
In nerve and fibre set,
Absent light shines brightest
From her being yet.
Thank you so much Danny to say I'm chuffed to bits is an understatement. This is so kind and beautifully put.For once I'm at a loss what to say but thank you tonnes :)
