She Goes Over The Edge Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

She Goes Over The Edge

Rating: 5.0

There she goes
Another female poet succumbing to suicide
Why did you do this?
Are you giving me a reason to die?
I don't want to die
For I have people who support me
But I have thoughts
When I get too low about my poetry
Or the weather confines me to the basement
For being too cold--too hot
Another reasons like loneliness and hopelessness
Are two biggies
However, I rattle my brain to get them out
And write a poem instead
There's always be hope and togetherness
I wish I could have told her that
