She Is Poem by Lonnie Hicks

She Is

Rating: 2.9

She has the uncommon grace
of exceeding beauty
but not being aware of it;

she has a gentle voice,
music in her breath,
offering it to everyone.

She has the contentment
that is an inner peace
which attracts and heals
the harmed and the tense-
and her supply is endless.

She had no sense of scarcity,
giving her smile endlessly.

Anger melts down,
bows down;
spent-
awed by her.

Candy mints
kiss her hand
for the sweetness.

She moves among us
lightly.

There are some of us
who are angel-lit-
are touched
by unseen hands,
by Boundless Bliss;
by Mystery
where inner light
pours forth
through eyes, and heart-
a prepossessing earth-bound divinity,
who when she enters a room.
everyone feels it.

Everyone sees it
except the one
who inhabits it.
