She Is Waiting Poem by C. Albert Andrews

She Is Waiting

SHE IS WAITING
Tell this to her
Before she leaves
I'll be there in a day
Or maybe two.
You are there
Because you travel by air,
I am not, cause I am by sea,
The others by train
But God knows they'll be.
Its difficult to see,
The path is cloudy.
The journey is long
But I'll be there just before dawn.
The clock is ticking
She is not waiting
The boat is sailing
And its now morning
Because the sun is shining
As I see her smiling.
Finally!
