She Knows Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

She Knows

To ashes, I let my pride burn
When an angel stretched her hand...
Touching my soul.

I heard voices,
It was my demons screaming to death
For, her touch came like a hearth
Fuelled by gasoline

The dying tides silenced thunders too
Like a new breeze, it felt
It was victory gained
When two wandering souls,
Claimed a common ground

O, what a euphoria!
It flows in the veins of my soul
And I feel it when my soul dance

Uuhhmm.....

To the chosen one who have bitten the dust,
She understands she can never be you
She just wonder why you broke such a caring heart?
She knows you were loved
But you never appreciated that
Maybe, it's true some poisons medicate

She knows you are irreplaceable
But she thank god you broke that heart
