She Talls Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

She Talls

And deep she flows hungry for lost love
She's risen from sliced prones
Her heartbeat struggles to stand up to rejection
Tight ends of her sobs carry love appreciated so late

Bracelets worn from promises she loathed
Poked by the sight of home where sad tales are in a night's diary
Scratched to nerve that she foed love songs
And befriend sorrow as a lullaby

Chains bonded her to the illusion sold
She bought with her reserved emotions
Into smooth words that got lost
Before they walked her down joyful streets
And now she talls, so steep
A wall hard to break

Masks of a fooler, had her blown to such heavens
She exhale pain of gravity
Her emotions fallen to such a shame
She weeps and then, she talls
So steep, a wall hard to break
