She held my hand
So, I could help her stand,
She held it so tightly
I felt quite proud and knightly.
She then held unto my arm
So, I could keep her safe from harm,
I felt brave and invincible
She was very convincible.
She then held and squeezed my muscle
As though inspecting me for a tussle
Shen then squeezed my arm tight
As though readying me for a fight.
She held tightly unto my form
So, I could keep her dry and also warm,
I was her protector and her shield
Threats towards her, they would yield.
She then suddenly left my side
As though she went away to hide,
Her embraces weren't given affectionately;
She, only needed me.
