She's Mine Poem by Devon Sherman

She's Mine

Rating: 5.0

I don't just say I love you because of a habit,
I don't say I love you to make a conversation,
I say I love you because it's how I truly feel.

I was afraid to meet you,
I didn't know how to act.
I was unsure of what to say,
I wasn't used to talking this way.

As long as I have you,
I don't need anything else.
You are my everything,
I don't need money,
Because you are more valuable than gold.

When your away from me,
All I think about is being with you,
And when I'm with you,
I think How do I survive without you?

Always remember that I will forever love you,
And I am constantly thinking about you.
And missing you.

You mean so much to me,
More than I could ever say.
And even if you don't believe me,
I mean it in every way.

It's not that I can't live without you,
It's that I don't even wanna try.
When we met I wasn't looking to fall for you,
Now that I have I couldn't picture my life without you.
I love you.

Lovely depiction of love as a voyage of pure bliss - a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly, well articulated and insightfully penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A beautiful portrayal of the 'Might Feeling Of Love'. Thanks for sharing Devon. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
