She Sleeps At Ease Poem by Shaun Cronick

She Sleeps At Ease

Her eyes as stars in Heaven dwell,
Reflected in a clear waters swell.
My tales of life and secrets kept,
For her I loved and for her I wept.

Sad memories of her forever fill my mind,
Of our shared love now so cruelly defined.
For she was a thousand breezes that blow,
That captivating sparkle on settled snow.

For I'm her lover cursed to sadly weep,
Her cherished memory I'll forever keep.
Her love now lost in time and space,
She sleeps at ease in that better place.
