Prim and ever so proper,
Almost posh but very polite.
Tidy and so well presented,
Each visitor a welcome delight.
A museum having its trial run,
To test a few things out.
For a few friends and families,
Good people of that no doubt.
And so the waiting's over,
So ends these months of pain.
As a museum's green gates open,
It's staff on top of their game.
All dedicated and most devoted,
A genuine smile not a frown.
All happy in their museum,
For they'll never let it down.
So what does happen now,
Where do we go from here.
A few more test audience days,
For a museum we hold so dear.
All dedicated and most devoted, A genuine smile not a frown. All happy in their museum, For they'll never let it down.
Wonderful homage to your museum and your work colleagues Shaun. Hopefully things will get back to normal, rather than later. It's a cultural treasures filled ten from me!
A well penned significant poem. Simply sensible.....10++++++
I am always an avid fan of museums. It is the first I want to see whenever I am in a certain place. Very informative. You can have knowledge of the place and other important things

very nicely you are writing down the daily events in the poem forms, for example here the museum is very rare topic, not every poet can write poetry about it, but that is Shaun who always provide us with a new surprise form and theme..Excellent with a big 10++ and it goes in to my treasure chest
