She Swears And Curses Poem by Randy McClave

She Swears And Curses

I don't know if she's uncaring,
Or if she does not care about the feelings of others
I don't know if she has any sisters or brothers,
But, I don't like to hear her swearing.

I hate to hear that young lady cursin',
As she seems to have a very good and kind soul
I pray that it's still there and still all whole,
I hate for her to be known as a foul mouthed person.

I hope that she doesn't swear to impress,
And I hope that she doesn't curse because she can
I hope that she doesn't do it because she's not a man,
I'd wish that she didn't do it at all, I confess.

I hate it deeply when anyone curses,
And I also hate it when anyone swears
For them we all say we are sorry and give them our prayers,
I truly wish they instead recite Biblical verses.

Swearing and cursing doesn't make one tough,
It doesn't make any person a well spoken dignitary
All it does is make a person sound not sure enough,
They should go out and buy and read a dictionary.
