She Waits Poem by Sara Hol

She Waits

Rating: 5.0

The leaves have fallen,
and so has the snow.
The rain was calling,
for the wind to blow.

Her face grew red
as the bench began to break,
with the weight set upon it
from her grieving state.

Her heart grew heavy,
time passing with each face.
She thought he may be coming
as her heart beat
picked up pace.

The day still has not come
and her fear has only quickened,
She worries she will become distracted
and will completely miss him.

Which one? Which one?
could he be?
Maybe none of them
could be the boy of her dreams...
so she waits..
