There was a girl that wished,
Her life would be like a story rhyme,
Her life was blemished,
She felt like grime,
She wanted to have her story told,
To the young and old,
She wanted to be in love,
She wanted to be graceful as a dove,
She wanted to fly free,
She wanted her haters to let her be,
She wanted to be able to go out,
She wanted to have no doubt,
She wanted to be the fairest of them all,
She wanted to never fall,
She wanted and wanted,
Her life was just taunted,
She saw only the bad,
And so she missed the beauty,
That was already there.
