She Wants A Man Poem by Randy McClave

She Wants A Man

A woman wants to date
So she can find her true soul mate,
The man to which she can say I love you
The man who is always honest and true.
She wants a man who is tall
And a man who will never crawl,
A man that will always stand up for her
When distress in her life does occur.
She wants a man who will always put her first
And a man who is well versed,
She wants a man who is not a bully
And who will always protect her fully.
A man who never mentions his exes
That pain vexes,
A man who is not addicted to alcohol or drugs
But, a man who is addicted to hugs.
She wants to be treated like a lady
And not ever treated or seen as shady,
She wants to be known as marital
And placed on pedestal.
She spends her time going to pubs and bars
Where patrons drives the finest trucks and cars
Hoping to find her love of life
That man who will take her as his wife.
She looks for that man everywhere
But, never in church where men speaks with a prayer,
So, there she will never look
She doesn't even like the book.
Sometimes it seems like a crime
A woman sometimes will wait a lifetime,
She'll wait for her Prince Charming to come
But, she ends up at the wrong places and she ends up with a bum.
