She Was A Rainbow Poem by Ayandare Mayowa

She Was A Rainbow

Rating: 4.9

she was a Rainbow.
Colourful specs lined gorgeous,
in organise display of her inner beauty,
casting a spell on his horizon.

Brightening his dark areas,
promise of rain for his drought places.
His thirst was awakened,
soul longing.

But she dimmed.
oh! she dimmed.
The anticipated end of the rainbow;
the proverbial pot of gold faded.
Oh! it faded.

But she dimmed. oh! she dimmed. The anticipated end of the rainbow; the proverbial pot of gold faded....nothing lasts here on earth...... beauty comes and goes everyday...... nothing is permanent..... you hve very wisely written about it....... tony
