She Was There Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

She Was There

Rating: 5.0

It was not going well
There was nothing more to think or tell
We did nothing except allowing axe to fall
It was disseverance to nature’s call

I passed through the same sand desert
The wing was slowing blowing with concert
It did touch my cheeks with no warmth
Some thoughts entered to remind me forth

I had no love for rising sun
It was about ugly or bad turn
I had to miss her for whole tenure
She may hunt me for complete future

It reminds me of gently spoken words
They were quite enough to look forward
Dream of a land where sky was generally to meet
The sand was making way for our resolute feet

Soon the cool breeze may evaporate
The day light will only be left to narrate
Soon the sand may turn its color
The rising sun may make it as hot floor

The total and unbearable it may become
No living being may be gladly welcome
It will be totally inhospitable and hostile
I was unperturbed and moved for while

I was moving with high hope
It was like walking on right rope
Very hazardous and challenging
I was carefully managing

I know the days may not last same for long
No one knew who was right or wrong
The dusty and hot wind may soon blow
We had resolved to part and go

The nature has proved cruel
It has added woes, agony and fuel
Igniting the wishes with no extinguishers
Where are now those all my good wishers?

I am not turning blind to the reality
I know I have blessings and full ability
I may find her somewhere here
I stand no chance to go anywhere

I shall come back again
With all flowers in hand to remain
With your close identity for ever
Shall it not stay with me forever?

I am very much sensitive
We both have remained very positive
Something has wrong as our misfortune
Else we were completely in harmony with tune

I give full credit to her understanding
She was in control and fully abiding
She never uttered a word in defiance
Though we had opinion with variance

I never back tracked and ran away
It was pulling me far and away
The cool breeze never appealed
All thoughts of desertion got repealed

I still hope it will meet with good end
It hoped against hope with her trend
It has kept alive the last hope of ray
It may lead me to happiest way
