Shed With Grace Poem by aida melesse

Shed With Grace

Rating: 3.5

Shedding its leaves,
The tree still remains.
Standing up
firm with grace
It transforms.
It knows deep in its roots
It’s time to let go
And stand naked,
Colorless.

But still awaits
Looking up
Opening its hands widely
To receive once again,
a new life to enter it.
