Shifting Suspicions Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Shifting Suspicions

Dishonesty and deception.
With a purpose to distract,
A truth one lacks.
Attracts shifting suspicions.
Until one finds their mind,
Attacked by reality.
And a truth one wishes found.
To be destroyed as if never existed.
