A light in times of cuspid shadow,
Dancing fire to fight the grey,
Smiles and thankful laughter lifts me,
Free from where I dwell each day,
Evergreen those trees once were,
Standing tall to fight the cold,
But spiteful winter bites too hard,
And makes them fall before they're old,
Shattered candles cross the twilight,
Time is relevant it seems,
My heart laments in echoes, beating,
Trying to wake me from this dream,
In peace, we know you're shining now,
Your light burns brightly as the sun,
forever dwelling deep inside of us,
Each and everyone.
