Early morning and late dusks
Scented perfumes of deep musks
I awake each day and there you are
My shining star my luminous light
My day is all splendid now
With you near somehow
In my mind I see you here
Standing really close and near
The day passes swiftly by
I never have the need to cry
The long afternoons are a drag
I seek to climb the steepest crag
Longer evenings ensue still
When I await your missal
Ah but the nights are sweet
When you delight me with treats
So I live from dawn to dusk
Await the star that ivory tusk
The special thing that's so rare
You are a love I cannot compare
I fear each moment we are apart
I wish to sew you to my heart
But then I know It cannot be
We only meet at the end of eternity
