Shoot Me Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Shoot Me

Shoot me

Sad am I, as you must
For the kids
Of Kenya, Syria, Asia, Africa

And one more, the ignored
In Yemen

Why is world silent, dead?
They are killed and unjust
Planes, bombs, make flood
The kids are in blood
Let us not pretend as blind.

US makes, Riyadh buys
To kill kids; Yemenis.

Yemeni
Rise with guns; kill us all
Do not care; as we don’t.
Is not life give and take?
