Always amongst us.
A 'there' lurking.
And daring those claiming,
To be unaware of 'there'.
Awaiting to be dared.
Then the stakes of a game played,
Are raised and watched.
By those who helped it be sold out.
And from the bleachers should be,
Adoring cheering fans.
Instead of booing the home team.
From where they stand.
Knowing the coach had given interviews.
On recent televised news.
Boasting of a win that did not happen.
Or on the same field of play,
Neither he or his players bothered to appear.
But yet expect credibility,
For incompetence shown to be known.
With fans to excuse,
This embarrassing display.
Each time a game to be played,
Has them paying and staying to watch.
Themselves being the ones sold out.
And coached to remain,
Enjoying at their expense.
The opportunity to be convinced of it.
