They have turned this world into a zoo
Many a fool to woo
Yes, it sounds weird too

I saw a "Coal House" in Harare
But not any coal anywhere
Another "Hurudza House"
All there's is chaos around both

I never imagined for once
How Samora Marchel and Julius Nyerere
Would have met with Mbuya Nehanda, for what
Well Kwame Nkruma and Kenneth Kaunda, no surprises at all
As for Nehanda and Kaguvi, rumours are that they once had a fling

What is "Compensation House" for really
What goes on in Tongogara' head as he passes by State House daily
Maybe he thinks of what could have been had he not died (killed)
Or maybe he enjoys walking side by his namesake Chinamano into endless thoughts

Well, in 6th Avenue, is all fear and no hope
There's no power at "Electricity House"
How then can one convince me of anything
Do we still have any common decency at all

The world is deed is a zoo
