Sidewalks To Memory - Poem by ceyi ceyi laflen

Barren empty sidewalks
gray and unforgiving;
making unmelodic thumping sounds
as my feet rhythmically step
dance
twirl-
Cold and lifeless buildings
gartered in girters of steel and glass,
reflecting everyone's buisness;
while i flutter
whirl
waver
in existence;
No color in these devoid cities,
no happiness to hold a flame,
no cheer to light a lamp;
Just me-
dancing
twirling
leaping
hoping
trying-
to make you remember yourself.
