Sift Poem by Robert Sheridan

Sift

Utensil yourself
Separate then retain
Pass then fall through
Apply by scattering
Stop – carefully examine
Move your soul by moods
Granulate the coarser parts
Watch the shallows
Watch the bottom
Scrutinize every sentence
Sift the opportunities
Don’t judge a book by it’s pictures
Don’t get woven into the meshes.
