It's monsoon season!
Poor old Eucalyptus trees'
Branches on the ground.
PART TWO- - Eucalyptus' is pronounced U- CA- LIP- SUS- SUS- - - - that awkward apostrophe still gives voice to the possessive SUS. Nit-picking but that is the struggle of writing these gorgeous poems. I give you a sweet 10 for that image but I think it is back to the drawing board for the Senryu designation.
PART THREE- - Dang I hate doing this because that image of torn arms is an absolute winner- -can you rework this piece to get the syllable count? ? ? This write is a beaut! ! !
Well encapsulated with artistic brilliance. Thanks for sharing Butch.
beautifull.. crying over the fallen branches of the tree.......... your mind is such a fine mind.. thank u dear poet. tony
PART FIVE- -I am going to ask Daniel Brick to check this out if he will- -he is a highly educated poet on PH who writes the socks off the rest of us! Maybe he will tell me I don't have the real deal on this. But I think he will do it nicely- he's probably the best teacher there ever was!
PART FOUR- -Maybe I am all wet. Let's hope. I think the possessive 's is always pronounced whether it is written s' or not but I am not a professor of grammar.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
PART ONE- - -I really admire the image of that Eucalyptus' Torn arms On the ground. that gives this Senryu a huge amount of WoW factor... but since you've obviously got huge poetic skills I have to caution you on something that sneaks up on me and often robs me of a victory- -always say it out loud when counting syllables. - -
