Silence Poem by Becca Carver

Silence

Rating: 5.0

Silence is a conversation,
That has no sound.
The thing that's heard,
When nothing is said.
Its peaceful but at the same time, Terrifying.
Silence is the loudest voice of all.
The one that everyone hears,
no matter what.
The most powerful cry for help.
Spending a month,
a week,
or even a day in silence,
*Helps to better understand the sound of a whisper.
Silence is exactly what it is
A Something that is nothing
A Nothing that exists
