Silence sitting
On my breast,
Beating upon
My heart, my chest,
Haunting me
In hell and heaven,
In home and in the street,
Sounds flutter
Their little wings,
And my thoughts
Settle on speechless swings,
Rain drops falling,
Winds blowing,
Leaves swaying,
Brooklet flowing,
And the sounds
Of nature and souls
Everywhere echoing,
But to be enfolded
In silence waiting
To carry me where
I know not my dear…..
