Silence
I wish could keep all the time
Life would be fine
Daggers dangle in front of the eyes
Yet I must keep silence
But then not stoop down
No signs of frown
I must take pride of my presence
Ignore their dagger, at the same be stoic and never stagger
To move with my head high
O God! Please bless me with your grace
To fly where sun smile at my days
I wish raise myself as I lie
Low on the ground with a low profile
Let me arise from my stupor
In silence and reach afar
Away from the conspirators who love politics
And their mischievous tricks.

Hi Rimni, Beautiful poem on confidence and self-assurance; these two attributes are the basic needs for women in the man's world of today. Well done. These lines are inimitably beautiful: : Let me arise from my stupor In silence and reach afar Away from the conspirators who love politics And their mischievous tricks. In this context, I invite you to read Poem of Aarzoo Mehek, ENTITLED, and my poems And Silencve is What I Choose and Where Words Weigh Heavy... All on the value of eloquent silence; its cacophony, its vociferousness! A 100++ for you...
