Silent Beauty Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Silent Beauty

Silent Beauty

Years ago, in school
-great were our textbooks
-they taught us "Read and Write, "
-best part was "Learn of life."

A horse man was passing;
-on saddle he carried
-some food that he could eat.

On his way encountered
-a shoe-less, with skin
-burned, bruised
-from sun of the noon.

The horse man stopped and
-shared the food; they drank
-water of spring
-and rested by tree.

While napping
-heard horse man
-his beast was galloping.

The guest was riding it.

He who had lost his horse
-called aloud, raising voice
- "Please do me favour;
-of this act, never tell
-to no one, no one else,
-let the wrong be silent! "

We were the students
-trained by the system:
- "Forgive bad and forget
-be on side of goodness."

Reading the articles
-in today's Media
-I see more of second
- (The thief or the devil!)
