Silent Fight Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Silent Fight

Silent fight

I saw him
Same old guy…

He stole my respect
On first sight…

And today
Once again
He proved
The old song:
-he is worth
-is worthy of respect
-a Kurd with Turkish tongue…
-escapee from wrongs…

Hard worker with respect
Far away from home
Here in Canada!

His heart sea
Thoughts sky
Borderless his efforts
A desert or plain
-with hardship
-without end!

Is boss yet
Is slave

Orders and
Takes orders
Some use him
Some abuse!

His income sacrificed
To make sure has done right:
-he is poor and needs help!
-give him hand not to rob, not to beg.

Is that not silent fight?
-with ego and unjust!
