Silent Corner Of Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Silent Corner Of Life

Steep canyon walls, trapping thoughts within them,
echoing calls as they are being cried and yelled
into the voyage of a distant dimension.

Alone, unafraid, reaching a destination of time as
life moves forward into a silent corner of earth
tonight.

Pieces of a heart, left tattered on floors of love,
to be stepped on by those who no longer care.
