Silent Dagger Poem by Richard D Remler

Silent Dagger

..............

silent dagger,
keep me warm,
and tell me stories
in the dark.
haunt my waking
nothingness with
something cold
and gray
and stark.
whisper ether
tales to me,
in wonders of
a simple lie.
and i'll draw my
final breath
come dawn,
and bid you all
goodbye.
