Silent Love Poem by Arun Maji

Silent Love

Rating: 5.0

I love you as if I don't love you.
Like the silent night-
thirsty, he drinks moon's sweetness;
but moon knows nothing about it.
As if, he is detached from moon.
But inside, he is dying in love.

I care you as if I don't care you.
Like the flowing river-
nourishing everyone on her way;
yet she never talks about it.
As if, she does not care.
But inside, she is spent nourishing others.

I kiss you as if I don't kiss you.
Like the blowing breeze-
his lips always drinking from lips of flowers;
yet flowers know nothing about it.
As if, breeze knows nothing about kiss.
But inside, he is immersed in flower's nectar.

I desire you as if I don't desire you.
Like my sleeping eyes-
they are always dreaming you,
but you know nothing about it.
As if, my eyes are sleeping dead.
But inside, they are always dreaming you.
