Silent Passage Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Silent Passage

The still grey shadow of morning colored the sky.
The morning cool and quiet before the first birdsong.
The air peaceful and calm, no breezes to sway leaves.
And there above, a wonderous tall cloud glided in Silent Passage.
And sure there must be many traversing across the sky,
Preparing the path of promising hurricane rising from the South.
Bringing hope of rain, and worry of wind,
yet crystal sunbright days ahead.
All this knowledge from the trekkers of Nature's Silent Passage.
