Silent Time Poem by Terence George Craddock

Silent Time

Rating: 5.0

pulling a curtain
down across upon
sealed shut past

veiling
future seems
silent

in time lost
in thoughts events
long spent

long ago
the curtain
sealing

spent past
had come down
totality shut

now thoughts
must turn
to the present

or instant pull
away displaced
into future

steam trains
no longer tear down
our tracks

age steam youth
abandoned in history
intensity mystery
