Sitting in a dark bar, just like another that there is
Amongst commotions, I sit alone amongst the fizz
When someone to the left, catches my green eye
A feminine distraction, to distract any clever spy
Seeing that I am looking her way, as she sees too
Dressed in something sleek, sexy, catchy and blue
Sparkling like the look in her eyes, as for a touch
That she does crave, as do I inside so very much
Catching this moment of reflection, as we do unite
In a shared glance my way, turning into my night
Exchanging looks, knows I’m seeing every curve
Other gentlemen here, started to notice eyes swerve
Illumination of my face, only by the cigarette I lit
Red and heated, by the slow inhale of a smoky hit
Exhale the smoke that dances, like her so before me
Arched brow, seek her body swaying and letting free
Never words spoken, as her body said quite enough
A heart emblazoned, with lustful games made tough
Sip the scotch that burns the throat, as the thirst trips
For the sensation of the embrace, and that of her lips
Yielding a body, the Devil designed for the evening
Walking this way so excites the heart, for the yearning
Leaving no secret, she knows damn well I’m watching
For any moment building, that my hunger is stinging
In my arms as she dances, against my hips and sways
Knowing she’s been here before, in such seductive ways
Lips as crimson as the blood tripping, within my shield
Defences are beginning to fall, and I slowly start to yield
For as every signal was exchanged, and so administered
Every step taken and every passive thought, considered
For she left every other man, hanging on the telephone
Knew sure as hell, I wasn’t going to leave this bar alone
