Silently Look Back Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Silently Look Back

Rating: 5.0

I tried to sing a song
That covered all wrongs
Performed through out the age
The wound was hidden in bandage

I mustered all kinds of medicines
To feel outwardly happy and look fine
But it gave me no mental peace
The life was not totally at ease

I was certainly part of this beautiful world
Where murders were taking place in cold
No mercy was shown to poor and needy
Where eyes were thrust upon and looked greedy

I remained calm and witnessed
With different eyes as if unconcerned
Swallowed poison but not reacted
The mind and heart was fully infected

People talk of sweet memory
That adds and causes me worry
What is there so sweet to remember?
When whole of the life can be looked as simple surrender!

Some one may silently look back and say nothing
Others may sit in corner and repent for something
Well, it is orchestrated agony that everybody listens
They all pray to almighty for happy end and hasten
