Silver Night Poem by Tabraze Rasul

Silver Night

Silver night you approach so quietly
As I sit hushed under the camphor tree.

Ciphered by human touch I pray a plea,
And so I wait for your wisdom to set me free.

How elegantly you hang with vibrant philosophy,
Pathetically I sit as you shine your pity at me.
